In the UK Nicki Minaj breaks a record with her song Starships. It’s charted as the #1 song while her hit ‘Turn Me On’ is at #3. She added in a interview a few weeks ago that ” ‘Pink Friday:Roman Reloaded‘ will be an important album to hip hop and pop culture” well it sure looks like it’s already beginning to happen. Nicki Minaj is officially the highest charting female rapper in U.K. history. According to some fans ‘Starships’ is a massive attack of disaster but, little do they know that ‘Pink Friday:Roman Reloaded’ is being considered as the #1 album in the U.K. As confident as Nicki is, she brushed the criticism off her shoulder and gave a positive response. “It’s going in a very free, exhilarating direction in terms of me owning who I am and me enjoying the process of making music, I think that when you get the album you’ll feel as if I had absolutely no boundaries. That’s probably the best way to explain it so that you understand. The album just has no boundaries. The album cannot be boxed in.” Well Nicki there’s definitely no criticism here.
